Tulpa is a five-piece alternative metal band in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The band was originally formed in 2020 with Jax Riley on bass, Gabe Weinert on Guitar, and Will Russo on Drums. After many lineup changes, Tulpa would find their lead singer in Lianne McConnell in March of 2022 and their second guitar player, Derek, in July 2022. Tulpa’s sound incorporates elements from Alternative/Progressive Metal, Emo, and Metalcore with inspiration from Evanescence, TOOL, Paramore, Breaking Benjamin, Spiritbox, Godsmack, and Nirvana.
