How to Submit Your Gig or Event
Submitting your gig or event to the Scene Pensacola Show Calendar is quick and easy, with three convenient methods to choose from:
- Through the Website: Visit ScenePensacola.com and click on "Shows" in the navigation menu. From there, select "Submit Your Gig" to access the submission form.
- Directly from the Show Calendar: If you're already browsing the Show Calendar at ScenePensacola.com/shows, simply click on the "Submit Event" button at the top of the calendar. This will also lead you to the same submission form.
- Using Our Quick Link: Head to bit.ly/scenecalendar and bookmark it!
Once you're on the submission form, you'll be prompted to provide essential details about your event, including:
- Event Title: Capture attention with a catchy title that encapsulates the essence of your gig.
- Keywords and Tags: Help your event stand out by including relevant keywords and tags. These can range from genre-specific tags like "punk show" or "metal show" to venue tags for events happening at specific locations. If you can't find the tags you need, simply add them to the private notes section when submitting your event, and our calendar elder council will review and add them for future use.
- Event Image: Upload a captivating image for your event flyer or feature image.
- Date and Time: Specify the date and time of your event.
- Event Description: Provide a compelling description that entices potential attendees and gives them a taste of what to expect.
- Street Address: Ensure guests can easily find your event by including the street address.
- Event Site Link: Optionally, include a link to the event site where attendees can purchase tickets.
Once you've filled out the form, hit submit, and voila! Your event will be added to the Show Calendar for all to see.
What if My Event Happens Weekly or Monthly on the Same Day?
No problem! Simply utilize the private notes section of the form to indicate the recurring nature of your event – whether it's weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. We'll set it up to automatically repeat so you won't need to submit it multiple times. If there comes a time when your event will no longer occur, we can easily cancel the recurrence.

What if My Event Is Canceled or the Details Have Changed?
No problem whatsoever. Simply get in touch with Scene Pensacola via Facebook, Instagram, or email us at contact@scenepensacola.com, and inform us of the changes. We'll promptly update or remove it from the calendar.
Is Visiting Our Website the Only Way to Stay Updated on Events?
Not at all! By signing up for our Weekly Show Alerts newsletter, you'll receive a convenient email every Friday highlighting all the upcoming events in the Gulf Coast for the next 7 days. This means you'll get a handy reminder of where and when events are happening without needing to visit our website. We understand the importance of staying informed, which is why our weekly email has become a staple for music enthusiasts across the region.
In fact, inspired by Scene Pensacola's initiative, several businesses and news outlets have started sending out their own event alerts – if they even get the time to put them together regularly, that is. However, our consistent weekly email, sent out every Friday since the inception of Scene Pensacola, remains your comprehensive guide to so many of the events taking place across the Gulf Coast, conveniently consolidated into one view.
How Can I Feature My Events in the Printed Calendar Brochure?
It's a breeze! All you need to do is ensure that your events are listed on our website by the 15th of the current month for inclusion in the upcoming printed brochure. We curate the calendar around this timeframe, designing and compiling it by the 15th of every month. This allows us to send it for printing and distribution to various venues, salons, restaurants, and businesses across Pensacola before the 1st of the following month.
Why Aren't My Regularly Recurring Events Included in the Printed Show Calendar?
To ensure ample space in our trifold printed brochure calendar, we prioritize featuring unique events rather than regularly recurring ones such as weekly karaoke or open mics. However, if it's a month with fewer live events, we may include a section specifically for recurring events and showcase them accordingly.
How Can I Have My Event on the Back of the Printed Calendar Brochure?
At Scene Pensacola, our mission isn't driven by profit. However, featuring an event on the back of our calendar is a unique opportunity to elevate its visibility. The back page of our printed calendars is reserved for sponsors who help offset the printing costs. So, if you're keen on highlighting a significant event, consider sponsoring a month.
