We're Turning One Today!

On February 15th 2023, Scene Pensacola was born and our team hit the ground running. A year later, we're more passionate than ever.

We're Turning One Today!
One year down, infinity more to go!

One Year In...

It's hard to believe a whole year has passed since we first launched scenepensacola.com, setting in motion our mission to shine a light on and document the Pensacola and Gulf Coast music and arts scenes.

In that time, we've published 256 articles, emailed 152 Around The Scene/Weekly Show Alerts, printed 8000 Show Calendars that were distributed to 18 pickup spots, added 102 Bands to the Band Directory and had a booth at 3 Festivals.

We're also growing. Last month we reached over 1000+ Around The Scene/Weekly Show Alert subscribers, 1000+ Instagram followers and 1600+ Facebook friends. Thank you for coming along for the ride!

The response from all of you has been so positive. The kind words, comments and messages we received just reinforced that what we're doing is important, needed, useful and relevant. We can't thank you enough for continuing to believe in our efforts, and in the scene.

Our very first post was written before we even launched, but it laid out who we are, where we're going, our values, and our mission statement. And I hope you think we've stayed true to it all. I'd like to think we have.

From punk rock to smooth jazz, the local music scene in and around Pensacola, FL is both alive, and overflowing with talent. We want to make it easier for artists to get the word out when they’ve booked a show, or released new music, and on the other side of the coin, make it easier for music lovers in the region to discover those shows and music releases.
