Pensacola's new Blake Doyle Skatepark had its ribbon cutting ceremony on May 2nd, but the real Grand Opening festivities are taking place on Saturday June 10th, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM with live bands, local artists, food trucks and a market of over 40 local vendors.
The event is called Opening Day, and the organizers envision it as the beginning of an annual music festival and skate competition right here in Downtown Pensacola. See the lineup of all the events taking place below:

Vendors
La Rua Street between Tarragon and Hayes will be shut down to traffic and will feature 40 local vendors showcasing and selling their wares.
For the first time, we will have a Scene Pensacola tent setup and will be giving away free swag all day until we run out. We plan to have a few shirts for sale as well, and free printed show brochures featuring all upcoming shows and events in June in the community that you can take with you. Stop by and say hi, and get some free stuff!
